Canada is doing really good in the olympics. And if the Olympics were based off how many golds you get, we would be in first. We have 13. And yes america is winning right now, but they have mostly bronze. Thats laaaaaaammeeeeee. Just saying. I don’t really like the olympics because they have made a lot of people mad. With the whole ‘own the podium’ campaign. Well we aren’t owning the podium and now people are getting upset. One girl went on TV and cried and said sorry cause she felt that she let the whole country down. Thats just terrible. these olympics are to be for fun, right? why are they making it all about winning. Yes that is a factor of the olympics i understand, but shouldn’t having fun and doing what you love and bringing the country together as one be more important?? i think so. I just think that we need a reality check, and should be a lot less caught up in beating everyone and ‘owning the podium’ ? What do you think?
